Q-Time Rules
Rules of Play
Q-Time Pool Leagues follow the Billiard Congress of America (BCA) general rules of pocket billiards, which can be viewed or downloaded from the BCA website.
Q-Time also has its own league-specific rule book, which is updated yearly. In any case where there is a discrepancy between the BCA and Q-Time rules, Q-Time rules will apply. All players (especially team captains) are encouraged to read over the Q-Time rules, as the league organizers may not always be available to answer questions or address issues.
Fee Payment
League fees are expected to be paid nightly. While the operators understand that circumstances may arise where this isn't always possible, any shortfalls must to be made up promptly. Fees are tracked on a team basis, and it is the responsibility of the team captain's to ensure payments are up to date.
If any team falls more than two weeks behind in payments (i.e. more than $90 in arrears for Monday, $160 for Tuesday, etc), then penalties will be applied as follows:
- for leagues decided by Total Points, 1 point will be deducted per $1 owing
- for leagues decided by Rounds Won, 1 round will be deducted per $20 owing
Once applied, penalty points will not be reinstated. Penalties will continue to be applied every week until the team is back in compliance with the above payment rule.
Leeway was given last year, as it was the first application of these new penalties, but that will not be the case again.
