Q-Time offers some features that you won't find with any other league system in the city.

1. All divisions are handicapped. Check out our public stats page to see how close every division is.
2. All league fees include table time, no extra $1.50 to have available to plug tables.
3. All division are Sanctioned with the BCA. This provides the opportunity to attend different Canadian and International events.
4. PAYOUTS - Q-Time believes that prizes should be based on how a team does during the year (including their Handicap). For that reason we don't make prize payouts dependant on an un-handicapped tournament at the end of the year. The only exception to this principle is in our Trip division where we offer a 1st prize to the 1st place team overall(including handicap), and a second prize of equal value to the team that finishes first in our "Ranking" tournament at the end of the season. The "Ranking" tournament is where the remainder of the teams in the division compete head to head for the "Equal" prize. Placings in the tournament determine the value of subsequent prizes, usually in $100 increments. Prizes for "Wind-up" tournaments are made up of individual entry fees, and added money from the Administration fund (when available). For example, our 3 player divisions had Christmas and Wind-up Tournaments for which $350.00 was budgeted. In fact $500.00 was paid out for each, because there was a small surplus in the administration fund.
5. NO PRIZE FUND MONEY (except as budgeted at the start of the season) is used for wind-ups. Budgeted prize fund money for tournaments will NEVER exceed 10% of the fund.

Teams are rated by their "Calculated" value. This is in an effort to maintain fair and competitive divisions.         This is our 4 player cash division. For the 2007-2008 season this division will be played out of both Snooker Shack and the Bad Beaver. Each team will be based at one of the halls, and will travel as required to the other hall. YOU WILL PLAY TWICE AS MANY GAMES AS A BAR LEAGUE each week.

• For each multiple of 8 teams entered trips are awarded as follows:

  • First place overall (including handicap points) - 1 Vegas Trip

  • Winner of the playoff tournament (not handicapped) - 1 Vegas Trip

  • Remainder of finishers in the final tournament will win trips to either Canadians, Westerns, or the Regional tournament of their choice. Value is determined by the number of teams registered.

• Should teams not wish to take their trip, 75% of the trip value will be paid out in cash.
